The Big City Executive Partnership (BiCEP) mission is to build robust, reciprocal, direct and sustainable relationships among senior officials from Canada’s largest cities and their counterparts in the other orders of government to ensure policy making and investment decisions benefit from local knowledge and expertise. BiCEP achieves its purpose by improving information-sharing, identifying shared challenges and opportunities to work together on solutions.

Strengthen relationships among its members through improved information sharing and identification of shared challenges and opportunities to work collectively to advance solutions.

Create opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and problem-solving through the identification of resources and international colleagues developing leading practices in other jurisdictions.

Strengthen partnerships between members, government officials and other civic entities through regular engagement and improved collaboration and information sharing.

Inform federal budgets, programs, policies, legislation and agency priorities.

Inform with data, expertise and best practice the engagement and advocacy efforts of key organizations.

Advance a new urban agenda reflecting the critical role of big cities to the economic, environmental and social well-being of Canada.
